Terms of Service
Effective November 5, 2026
In short: the preview is free. You pay only after you approve it. Monthly has a 3-month minimum, then you can cancel anytime. Your web address and content are always yours. We work hard for you, but we can't guarantee a number of customers or jobs.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Trail Connect ("we," "us"). They cover your use of trailconnectus.com and the website services we provide. By requesting a preview, approving a preview or paying for a plan, you agree to them. If we sign a separate written agreement with you, that agreement wins wherever the two differ.
2. Free preview
A preview is free and comes with no obligation. Until you buy a plan, the preview design belongs to us, and you may not copy or publish it. We may decline to build a preview or take on a project for any lawful reason.
3. Plans and payment
- Monthly plan: $149 a month, with no setup fee. The first month is due when you approve your preview. After that, your card is charged automatically every month on the same date until you cancel. By approving your preview on this plan, you authorize these recurring charges.
- Own it plan: $1,200, paid in full when you approve your preview, plus $99 a month for care (hosting, changes and quote-request alerts), charged automatically each month until you cancel the care plan.
- Facebook ad management (optional): $300 a month, charged automatically until you cancel. Your ad budget is paid by you directly to Meta and isn't part of our fee.
- Launch timing: we aim to launch your site within 1–2 days of payment. That depends on getting what we need from you, such as access to your web address and any content you want included.
- Price changes: we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing your price, and we won't change it during your 3-month minimum.
- Taxes: prices don't include any sales tax that applies; if tax applies, it will be shown on your invoice.
- Web address fees: if you need a new web address (domain), we'll tell you the registration cost before buying it. Where possible, it's registered in your name.
4. Failed payments
If a payment doesn't go through, we'll let you know and give you 7 days to fix it. If it still isn't paid after 7 days, we may pause your site until it is. Once you're paid up, we'll bring the site back. We back up your site before pausing it.
5. Refunds
Because you see your preview before paying, payments are non-refundable once your site goes live, except where the law requires a refund. If we can't launch your site, we'll refund what you paid for it.
6. Cancelling
- Monthly plan: there's a 3-month minimum. After that, cancel anytime by email or text. Cancelling stops future charges, and your site stays up until the end of the month you've paid for. If you cancel during the first 3 months, the remaining months of the minimum are still due.
- Care plan and ad management: month to month. Cancel anytime, and charges stop after the current month.
7. Who owns what
- Your web address and your content (text, photos, logos and your business information) always belong to you.
- Own it plan: once paid in full, the site's design and files are yours too.
- Monthly plan: the site's design and code are part of our service while you subscribe. If you leave, we hand over your web address and your content.
- You give us permission to use your content to build and run your site. You confirm you have the right to use everything you give us.
- We may list your business as a client and show your site in our work samples, unless you ask us not to.
8. What "changes" means
Changes included in your plan are reasonable updates to your existing site: text, photos, services, prices, hours, contact details and small layout tweaks. Bigger work, such as a full redesign, many new pages, an online store or custom features, will be quoted separately before we start.
9. Quote requests and results
Quote requests come from your own customers through your site, and we send them to you by text and email. Message delivery depends on phone carriers and email providers, and can occasionally be delayed. We don't guarantee any number of visitors, quote requests, customers, jobs or revenue, from your website or from ads. You're responsible for how you contact and serve your customers, including following any laws that apply to your business.
10. Text messages
If you agree to receive texts from Trail Connect, we'll send messages about your preview, your website, your account and, for clients, new quote requests. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, or HELP for help; you can also reach us at 631 506 6944 or sales@trailconnectus.com. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Agreeing to texts isn't required to get a preview or buy a plan. See our Privacy Policy.
11. Hosting and availability
We host sites with reputable providers and fix problems as quickly as we can, but we can't promise your site will never go down.
12. Using our website
Don't misuse trailconnectus.com: no spam, no fake requests, no attempts to break in or overload it. The content of our own website belongs to us.
13. Limits on our liability
Our services are provided as described here, without other promises. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell our clients about significant changes at least 30 days before they apply.
